OBESITY

In the UAE people were very thin and more healthy because they working and moving a lot. Nowadays, many things are available such as technology which makes our life easy. People are not moving and not doing any exercise. Now, I am doing to write about obesity in the UAE.

There are many people in our country having many problems in the health. The main problem is from overweight in many people. Unfortunately most of the people are not doing exercise and are eating fast food four to five times per day. They are playing a lot of games and always feeling more relaxed and also sleeping for along time. Also in the children problems start because they are always eating from McDonalds and KFC. The fast food company make advertisements to catch the customer and it becomes a bad habit in our children. Some families do not comity advise this children and so they cannot get any solution for this problem.

The obesity in the UAE has increased in the children and adults. It makes disaster in our contemporary society. The government has started to control the solution and to decrease the overweight in people. They made a very long cornice with lots of facilities for example, play by cycling, swimming and also you can walk and run. In advertisement they brought famous footballers to the country to show that health is very important in our life and we have to same our life from obesity by doing any exercise daily by walking for half an hour.

As a result, there are some ideas to help solve the problem. Saying that, it is essential that every one must become involved, including government and hospital. If a lasting solution  is going to be found. Otherwise, the problem could become a major risk and even cause of death.

Valentine`s Day Gifts

          These two pie-charts show us the types of gifts and what men buy for women in the USA and vice versa on Valentine`s Day.

            We can see from the charts that the cards take the highest percentage of gifts for women and men; 27% of women which is more than quarter of the total, and for the men shows 18%. Also we can see for the men flowers is the second which is 16%, while the womens second gift is candy, and it shows 21%. 14% of men buy candy and 11% of women buy flowers. 10% of women buy perfume/cologne comparing with 4% of men. Jewelry is almost the same for both of them, men 10% and women 9%. Also we can see the differences of buying lingerie and spa/personal care. The graphs show 25% of men buy other gifts and 17% of  women.

 

            In conclusion, we can see there are many types of gifts and there are differences between women and men when they buy gifts.

The UK Budget

The pie- chart shows the information on UK government spending in 1996. The total budget is £315 billion.

There are many budgets for the UK government. The highest budget is £100 billion. It is spent for Social security. For another social service it spent £53 billion on health and personal services. The UK government spent £9 billion on transport. They spent around £23 billion on each of defence, debt interest and other expenditure. For, housing, heritage and enviroment less was spent, £15 billion. The UK government spent £38 billion on Education and £17 billion on law and order. This is all the information shown in the pie- chart.

As we can see, the UK government spent a big amount of the 1996 budget on social security. The lowest budget shown in the pie- chart is £9 billion on transport. That means the UK government focused on the social security because it spent more money on it than anything else.

Top Ten Date-Producing Countries, 2001

The bar graph shows date producing in tones for the world’s top produces in 2001.Ten countries in the Gulf region and northern Africa are featured in this chart.

First, Egypt had the highest annual production in tonnes , but Iran is a close second with almost 0.9 million. The UAE supplied the world with nearly 800,000 tonnes and Saudi Arabia around 750000 tonnes. Following them came Iraq and Pakistan, rivaling each other with around 600,000 tonnes each. In contrast, harvest in Libya and Sudan are approximately the same. In the Asian continent Iran had the highest production. Finally,  Libya’s and Sudan’s crops yielded under 0.2 million each.

In summary, Egypt and Iran are close to each other in production of dates. However, Libya and Sudan are the smallest two produces in northern Africa.

How to change a tyre

Anybody driving car,  should know the safety procedure about the vehicle that he uses . So now I`m going to explain the steps if your car tyre blows out and you are in a remote area and there is no garage.

Firstly, the nuts of the wheels are to be loosened and your car should be on the ground. Then the car is lifted by the jack. Next, the nuts are removed. After that the damaged tyre is replaced and the new tyre is fixed in. Then the nuts are tightened. Next that the car is lowered and the nuts are tightened. Finally the old tyre is put pack to the trunk and you can go ahead with your car

        As you see from what I have written, the procedure may show easy steps but in reality needs strong people; that means it’s difficult for women to do this especially if the car is 4 wheel drive.
