          These two pie-charts show us the types of gifts and what men buy for women in the USA and vice versa on Valentine`s Day.

            We can see from the charts that the cards take the highest percentage of gifts for women and men; 27% of women which is more than quarter of the total, and for the men shows 18%. Also we can see for the men flowers is the second which is 16%, while the womens second gift is candy, and it shows 21%. 14% of men buy candy and 11% of women buy flowers. 10% of women buy perfume/cologne comparing with 4% of men. Jewelry is almost the same for both of them, men 10% and women 9%. Also we can see the differences of buying lingerie and spa/personal care. The graphs show 25% of men buy other gifts and 17% of  women.

 
            In conclusion, we can see there are many types of gifts and there are differences between women and men when they buy gifts.

The UK Budget

The pie- chart shows the information on UK government spending in 1996. The total budget is £315 billion.

There are many budgets for the UK government. The highest budget is £100 billion. It is spent for Social security. For another social service it spent £53 billion on health and personal services. The UK government spent £9 billion on transport. They spent around £23 billion on each of defence, debt interest and other expenditure. For, housing, heritage and enviroment less was spent, £15 billion. The UK government spent £38 billion on Education and £17 billion on law and order. This is all the information shown in the pie- chart.

As we can see, the UK government spent a big amount of the 1996 budget on social security. The lowest budget shown in the pie- chart is £9 billion on transport. That means the UK government focused on the social security because it spent more money on it than anything else.

The bar graph shows date producing in tones for the world’s top produces in 2001.Ten countries in the Gulf region and northern Africa are featured in this chart.
First, Egypt had the highest annual production in tonnes , but Iran is a close second with almost 0.9 million. The UAE supplied the world with nearly 800,000 tonnes and Saudi Arabia around 750000 tonnes. Following them came Iraq and Pakistan, rivaling each other with around 600,000 tonnes each. In contrast, harvest in Libya and Sudan are approximately the same. In the Asian continent Iran had the highest production. Finally,  Libya’s and Sudan’s crops yielded under 0.2 million each.
In summary, Egypt and Iran are close to each other in production of dates. However, Libya and Sudan are the smallest two produces in northern Africa.
